Samjhana Pradhan serves as Executive Director of GoodWeave Certification since 2020 and has held various positions within GoodWeave Certification since 2007. Working for decades to assure carpet exporters/importers and consumers that the product is free from child labour. With extensive leadership experience, Ms. Pradhan is seasoned in developing social auditing procedures, coordinating and consulting with diverse stakeholders, facilitating in labour standards processes, and has built technical expertise in Labour Audit Practices as per the National Requirements. 

As a strategic partner to non-profits, she combines her passion for social impact with expertise to help organizations make the world a better place. Her achievements have included igniting growth, bolstering programme support, and increasing grant funding. She has also advanced staff engagement, decision-making, and problem-solving. Her ability to identify emerging trends and turn them into strategic advantages has been a driving force behind the Organisation's success. 

Ms. Pradhan holds a master's degree in Sociology and a graduate degree in English Literature and Sociology from Tribhuwan University, Nepal. She also completed a special course in English as a Foreign Language from Greenwich College, London, United Kingdom.
